Response of the Ministry of Interior to Ashraf's request to travel abroad

The Superior Court of Islamabad convened the response of the Secretary of the Additional Interior regarding the petition presented by former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, seeking to remove his name from the air exclusion list.

The case was heard by a two-member panel composed of the President of the Supreme Court Athar Minallah and Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.

The court expressed anger at the Ministry of Interior for not presenting its response to the case.

NAB was asked if he had any objection to Ashraf traveling abroad for a week. The prosecutor said a liability court in Lahore had issued arrest warrants.

The court said that Achraf should first be exempt from hearing by the competent court.

The case has been postponed until September 5.
